What are the main topics you deal with in your practice?

Curiosity... Movement... Fixation... Someone once called it ‘socially acceptable tunnel vision’ and that also feels pretty honest.

How do you define your artistic research in three words?

Gathering, observing, obsessing.

What images and spaces do you want to create through your work?

I want to make images that people feel like they could live in. I’m trying to match the importance I give certain things by letting them take up more space and seem never-ending.

Where and how do you find poetry?

Writing, images, sounds, memory, it’s easy if you’re looking. The more I take in, the more I can make my own connections.

In your view, what does being an artist mean in today’s world?

Putting in so much mental and/or physical time. But mostly, having it feel so ridiculous and silly and hopeless sometimes, and other times, it feels like the only thing in the world.
