I am a painter who switched from canvas to ceramic and tries to get back sometimes.
Which figures is your work about?
I use it all. Old and new mythologies, from Ancient Greece to The Middle Ages, goth iconography to Japanese manga... Everything that is available.
How do you define your artistic practice in three words?
Intuitive, unplanned, surprised.
What poetry are you looking for through your work?
Amazement at results that I have no control over.
Wherein lies the beauty for you today?
When magically unplanned, unforeseen colors that don’t match or shapes you can’t imagine create a new beauty.
